“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” — Elliott Erwitt

If you have a child who loves to read or has difficulty reading and you live anywhere near Brockport...here is an opportunity for you. We have known Mary Pat since she arrived and became Jennifer's teacher. Now she has retired, has a huge library of children's books, and all the time in the world to continue working with kids! Please feel free to pass this information on to your friends. I think this is a great idea and could be of great value. Phoebe (our Therapy dog) worked in a reading program for three years, helping elementary students in a nearby town.
She thinks Mrs. Musselman's Fancy Reading Room for Children could make a difference.

  1. What a great idea. So many teachers retire, and poof!, that's it. Books in storage or worse yet garage sales. I hope that some children without access to books make use of her Fancy Reading Room.

  2. absolutely LOVE the poster and the whole concept. what a great retirement for someone who loves to read with children!

Thank you for reading The Skoog Farm Journal. Your comments are appreciated!
