SOUP'S ON

One ugmo morning.  Did the chores and went down to Chorus for a 10am rehearsal.
It was a lot different from our last one (which was terrific).
Another stop at Wegmans, then on to Country Max for some Safe Choice and Beet Pulp.  More weird weather.  First we had snow.

Then it turned into a downpour.
 Put the ponies in early...

 They were a little wet!

At the last minute I invited Randy and Arlene to dinner and they were game.
A big salad (mixed greens, dried cranberries, apricots, apple and crumbly blue)...
 and chicken soup.
Grilled the bread....and Arlene brought their home canned peaches and pound cake for dessert.
A simple comfort food meal.  Yummy.

Afterward we played Sequence and for the millionth time Randy and Gary won.
There were a lot of cat naps going on.

Now it's time for me to catch one.
Night all.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT MARCH STARTS ON THURSDAY?

....and daylight saving time resumes on March 11th!  Wham! Bam!

Do any of you have horses that get this dirty?

Jill and I sailed through chores and she was outahere before 8:30.
Yesterday, even tho I was feeling better, I decided that if my stomach bothered me one more time I was calling the doctor.  It did and I did.  Got an appointment for 9:30 and just made it.

Got things figured out and stopped at Wegmans on the way home.  Hopefully I will be able to get back to normal post haste.  Those fish?  Yep, they are the same ones I video when I go to the massage therapist.  Peaceful.

Class at 1:30.
 GimmeGimmeGimme......

Time sure flies when you're having fun....

Took it easy by the fire before chores...got everything going for dinner.

There was some nice sunshine this afternoon and I did not go out until 6.
The three little piggies were ready and in need of grooming.

As for the weather...it was in the 30s today with some sun in the afternoon.  Rain tomorrow after a snowy morning and headed toward 50 in a couple days.  How I love that mud....

Simple dinner.
 A marinated asparagus/onion/tomato salad....
Sweet potatoes and a couple of chicken thighs.  Delish.
Turned my art table back into a dining room table, took a shower and am ready to do nothing.
Night all.

DARE I SAY I'M MAKING A COMEBACK?

 Red sky in morning.....
Had no clue as to how the weather was going to turn out so the hay went under the shed roof.  Started off with snow on the ground and a punched up paddock.
Chester wanted to help out Jill by having some manure for breakfast.  Ummmmmmm.

Why dogs love it is beyond me.
 Finished up early.

Had a wind up appointment with the chiropractor at 2.  Another fish tank...
My back has improved a lot so I'm taking a break.  Between him and the message therapist a big knot is disappearing.  Yeah!
Stopped at Wegmans on the way home.
By then, most of the snow was gone.
And the sky was back to it's dramatic self.

The temperature went up to about 47, but the wind was pretty wild.  Back to grass.
Gary painted today.  Will finish up a job this week and then will start painting at Judy's.
The girls were pretty tired of having their butts to the wind so I put them in a little before 6.

Regardless of the weather during the day...it always seem to end up like this at chore time.
Now, we are going to get back to normal with our Skoog Farm meals.  Tonight it was veggie burgers and roasted potatoes.  Nothing special but just right for the moment.
Catchalater.
Night all.
