HERE I AM AGAIN...

So much for froggy. Gucci finished him off before we went out for chores.

Nothing unusual this morning. Cooler, not so bright.

Tina came up about 10:30 to babysit me when I hooked up Abbe.

She was nice and quiet while we were getting ready. Then, I thought I would line drive her from the grooming room over to the outdoor ring....first time. She was ok...not great. Did a little outside, then went in to get her more settled down. Got the poles all messed up when I put them on her but it worked out in the end. She is not used to have someone else in the ring with us and reacted at times, to Tina. We got her hooked...that little red cart is not right for her. Everytime she stopped, it moved so she wanted to step back. Before things got worse, I unhitched her and did a little more line driving. Who knows how she will be for her lesson tomorrow.

Gar got home around 1pm and at 1:30 I drove his car over to Davis' Trailer World to get a hitch put on. I need to at least be able to go pick up sawdust and can't be so dependent on others (as in the Kenneys). The store part is jam packed with all kinds of stuff, so I took some photos while I was waiting. Hundreds and hundreds of cowboy boots and hats...along with anything else you could think of. Great staff and service.

On the way home I went through Caledonia...great little Main Street.

There's a monument/round about in the middle of town.

This is the Village Inn...after being closed for awhile, it is back in business. One of the better restaurants in this area.

Then I drove through Churchville...This is The Johnson House...another great restaurant.

A beautifully painted little house is near the only light in town.

As I got closer to home, farmers were working out in their fields...we have had so much rain it is hard to get things like hay and straw baled.

Home in time to do evening chores.

The girls were right there with me.

Dinner was leftovers 75% and 25% stir fried zuchini with onions, green peppers, roasted red peppers and a tomato. The potato salad had more flavor than it did last night...the beans were cold (but yummy...did you ever make a bean sandwich?) and the cucumbers marinated with onions and fresh dill tasted crispy and fresh.

Dessert was a blend of blueberries and peaches with whipped cream. A totally vegetarian dinner and very satisfying.

Went out to take the masks off and this incredible sky was waiting for me.

This is my PS for Skywatch Friday.

Enough for today. Night all.

Oh, poor froggy RIP!
I loved the mask line-up detail for the horsefaces! Too cute.
I think you made a very well discered move with the unhooking of Abbe that moment,,she sounded like she may have made her own move, if you had not.

I think i could spend some time and $$$ in that LARGE store...boots!

The boot selection looks great. At the rate I'm going my pair should last til about 2050. (They don't get the kind of wear they would at Skoog Farm.) Dinner looked delicious!
