This afternoon Jenny, Coop, Finn and I all paid a visit to Christina's World. It was supposed to be a nice sunny day. What did we get? Raindrops and a temperature of 71. Fortunately the pool was set at 82 and a good time was had by all.
Finn has passed his swimming test and is totally comfortable jumping off the board at the deep end!

That looks a grand day out. When we visit Ruth (in summer, anyway) we all enjoy going to what is known as 'the swimming lake'. It is a lake a few miles from their farmhouse, with clear water and a long, narrow, sandy beach. Great fun. We must try and get over there next summer.
