This past Saturday I went out to Glen Darach Farm for my lesson with Abbe. She had been there since Thursday morning and for two days she did not behave herself very well. When I got there she was running around the pasture as Andrea was putting the horses in their stalls.
A big storm was on the way...and me with a lesson!!!
We started with line driving, went on to poles and then hooked her up to my cart. She was like a different horse. More relaxed in the neck and able to maintain a decent jog. Just when we hooked her to the cart the heavy rains, thunder and lightning arrived. She was a trooper. Darrin moved the trailer into the indoor to load her when it was time to go home as the lightning was so bad (I know, I described this earlier). When it stopped, we left for home.

Lori, I don't know if you are "into" blogger awards, but I have thought about your blog in combination with the "honest scrap" award.. it's waiting for you to pick it up at my blog, if you like ;-)

Abbe is a beautiful horse and what a good girl. Glad you had an uneventful lesson with the weather being uncooperative, that could have been interesting.
I always hated when I had a riding lesson and it rained and got windy. So loud on a tin roof! At times you can't hear what you're supposed to be doing. Sounds like you and Abbe are back on track?
