Ahh! Rhubarb Cookies

We kept waiting for it to rain all day, but nothing so far.

At 9am our friend Sherri G. stopped up for some rhubarb.  She was our dog groomer for decades until she retired.  I sent Little Wonder to her when Phoebe was getting groomed and he was just a tiny puppy.  Wanted him to feel comfortable and it worked.  It took awhile, but eventually he did recognize her.  They have not seen each other for over two years.
Gary continued to work in the gardens.  Lisa left early and started her first dressage lesson at 8.  I did laundry and picked up a few weeds out of the front garden.  It needs some serious help.  Little Wonder did his usual.
Jenny and Scott arrived at 3 to deliver a trike to my Spa Pal, Alice....as she is going to use it for awhile.

When we got back to the farm, Jenny picked some rhubarb so we could make cookies again.
Dinner....personal pizzas on flat bread.

So good.
Once again I put a lot more rhubarb in the cookies than the recipe called for, but it worked out!  Yum.
Watched the Kentucky Derby (so grateful that no horses got hurt) and went out for evening chores when it was over.

Night all.

I love rhubarb but can only eat a tiny bit of it since it upsets my tummy! I got a rhubarb pie from the farmer's market yesterday for hubby. He sure is enjoying it.

Looks like a nice day!
