Could not ask for a more beautiful day.
Jason and Willy got right to work this morning putting on the piece that blocks the snow (whatever that is called).
While I was in the house making ham and cabbage soup, they finished the entire project by installing the flashing on the shed roof.
Kevin (the boss) went up in the lift to see how everything looked....
and before leaving, Jason went back up to take more photos.
I'm very happy to have this perspective on the job.
When it's close to dinner time The Rebel tunes in if he sees me coming out the door.
Our last batch of shingles will be picked up with our garbage tomorrow. It has taken over a month to get rid of them a little at a time. Finally, I was able to clean up the porch on Gary's barn.
It cracks me up that Seamus and his horse wait for me at chore time, when they have plenty of grass out there to keep them busy. During the day they are pretty much weaned off their hay nets.
Tucked the ponies in and was happy to have dinner. The kitchen smelled divine all day.
Night all.

The barns look wonderful! So does the soup. Your flowers are so pretty, nothing blooming here yet.
