Let's start off with a shot of Banana Bread pudding made at the Carlton Four Seasons Restaurant..does anyone have a recipe for this?
The kitchen at Skoog Farm is always open....
Come on in!
Here are the two Swedish chefs preparing Korv (Swedish sausage) for this past Christmas.
The skins are stuffed with a mixture of mashed potatoes, onions, barley, beef and pork.
I think Randy and Gary are in awe of themselves!!!
When Ariana was here, she made Johnny Cake (corn bread). Who doesn't love that hot out of the oven?
How about a little Chicken French...
Did you ever make "Apple Pan Dowdy?" It's a one crust apple pie made in a frying pan (baked in the oven).
Serve it up with some real whipped cream...
While we were Christmas shopping, Jenny and I went to PF Changs for lunch
I had a delicious hot and sour soup.
Then we split lettuce wraps (filled with chicken, mushrooms, green onions and water chestnuts in a fabulous sauce).
Meanwhile back at the Ranch, one of our staples is homemade vegetarian sauce on pasta
When we have veggie burgers I roast potatoes, onions, beets and carrots.
Don't you love breakfast for dinner? Bacon, homefries with onions, scrambled eggs and toast.
And then there are the 200 meatballs we made for Christmas Eve. The secret ingredient is apple sauce to keep them nice and moist...also, bake no hotter than 320 degrees.
Fruit....everyday.
That goes for salads too.
Made with greens or just fruit!
Soup made with leftover ham and cabbage....mine has a sweet and sour flavor to it.
Apples and oranges....oranges and apples. Snack time.
We still have a lot of Christmas cookies. Arlene made these.
Remember those 200 meatballs...we had so many I froze a couple of batches. Used some last night to have our old standby....
Can you tell I love to cook? This challenge is going to make us all hungry!

Stunning photos!
My favorite, still, is the header, maybe because the subject is so close to my heart or just because it is so darn good.

My daughter did a meatball dish with a bottle of bbq sauce and a jar of huckleberry jam that was delicious! I usually fry the meatballs- next time I'll do them in the oven.
