Big Bertha

Coolish this morning, but we did get up to the low 60s.

I was awakened by the beeping of the town truck that was here to pick up our brush.  We are always first.....8 o'clock sharp and they do such a great job.  Even rake everything up.

I did not let Little Wonder out until they left.

Around 8:30 I called the chiropractor's office to see if I could get in, as I did not make it to my last appointment because of my cold.  I always make sure I take a video of Big Bertha 

and this time, grabbed some still shots so I can have my students paint them.

This afternoon Gary moved more manure and roto tilled the area for his garlic.  He even got one row planted.

I made chicken salad for dinner with poppy seed dressing over a bed of greens.  So good.

By 6:45 it was almost dark....

and I could see the moon.

The kitchen porch looked so inviting with the Twinkie lights on.

Now Gary and LW are out in the kitchen

getting a fire started. I'm ready.
