We Almost Had a Hard Frost

36 degrees when I got up this morning and once again, the sun was brilliant.

Finn was here by 9 to help Gary get all of our brush ready for tomorrow's pick up.  I can never believe how much we accumulate.

While they were doing that I went down to Wegmans for a few things.
A lot more leaves have come down, but they are really dried out compared to other years.
Gary has done a lot of work in the pergola garden.  We have some ideas for this space during the wedding next September.

This afternoon I went for a trike ride....#39.  It was chilly and windy again.
One of Gary's pals stopped over for a load of manure for his garden.  We were chatting away and then I got a call from my Minnesota pal.  More talk....much of it about political involvement in our communities....when bam!  I realized I was supposed to be helping the local Dems writing postcards and was an hour and a half late.  Cut the call short and went down to help.  By the time I got home, the Bills game had started.  We had dinner, Gary started a fire....
and we watched the rest of the game.  They won!
Now I need to get out by the fire.
Night all.
