We have changing skies like that in Nebraska, too. Lovely shots, and appropriate song to view them to. :o)
A little variety is always good! I like the "just blue" shot because my sky is like that a lot of the time. Beautiful, but makes a boring photo which is why I sometimes use archived photos.
