Grey. Coolish.

This is an outrageously long post.
After chores I sat out on the porch with Steph, Gary, Bandit and Little Wonder and ended up taking a ton of photos of our kitchen jungle garden.
Little Wonder had a 10am appointment with the groomer and she did a great job....as usual.
When we got home, Steph was getting ready to meet Jenny and Scott to go out on the boat. Bandit knew something was going on and while Gary was getting ready to run some errands, he jumped into the back of our car.
Steph left and her sweet boy missed her big time. The lake was choppy and it was cloudy.
He kept watching for her.
Home around 5 and I was getting things ready for dinner.
Jenny, Scott and the boys arrived at 6:30.
A picnic dinner. Hot dogs, burgers, Italian sausage with peppers and onions and kielbasa. Roasted potato salad with chives, Mac and cheese, tomato/avacado/feta salad, pickled beets and nutty buddies for dessert.
Jenny went out with me for evening chores.
Everything was still dark grey, but to the North....this was the view.
Conversing with Fin and Coop is always such fun.
Now we are all ready to take a nap.

A feast! Your gardens are a paradise, I just love it. LW knows where it's at, handsome fellow! The pup waiting for his person is so sweet.
