HOME ON THE RANGE...

I truly thought it stopped snowing last night, but we woke up to even more snow. Gary shoveled a path to the barn for me, before he left for Java.

When I went out...more shoveling, so I was behind all morning.

Finally finished the stalls.

This morning, Dream wanted no part of her grain. She cleaned things up well last night tho.
Could she be missing Winnie?

I shoveled almost 1/3 of the driveway before I finished chores and did more before I went in the house. Fortunately Gary helped. As you can see this is one long driveway.

All the fir trees were heavy with snow.

I posted pictures below that were taken by Karen when she, Julie and Yonder came out to the farm this afternoon.

I only grabbed a couple shots. Gucci and Phoebe were all over Julie (who wanted the couch to herself).

After they got warmed up, we went out to the barn and I let them borrow a couple of saddles to try out.

While we were messing around, Gary continued to work on our bedroom...

I am very happy with the color choice...it still needs a second coat, but already looks like a peachy cinnamon (called Pecan). It is perfect with our doors and bed frame. Can't wait to have it all together.

Yes, Abbe...I know it's time to eat.....

Left the warmth of the fire and went out to do evening chores. I am so loving the flowers!

The pups went with me....of course.

Dinner? A salad with pears....

served with Chicken Helen and rice. Simple and delish.

This library is still jammed with stuff from the bedroom and looks like a pigpen. Normally this plant is in the bedroom.

Did not leave the property today. Guess I will see what's happening at the Olympics. Night all.

You are getting so much snow! And what little I have is melting as it was almost +40 today. Crazy weather! I really wouldn't want to shovel, but all that fluff would be so much fun for the kids.

As you wrote it, we are ready for spring. But it does not come fast. It's still rainy and of course muddy.
At the club the equestrian lessons take place inside. It's too muddy outside.
Gary paints very well. Beautiful room.
See you soon

I will never, ever again complain about the relatively small amount of shoveling I have to do.
