Gillian Higgins (champion rider) is a sports remedial therapist from Nottingham. She has written a book "How Your Horse Moves" and when she is out doing lectures...uses a live model for her demonstrations.
The horse has 700 muscles....
and 205 bones.
Pretty interesting! And the paint she uses washes right off. I'd say she is quite an artist.

Pretty cool stuff!
I would love to paint Indigo like that but I need an excuse to. I paint her/the horses all the time with tempra paint for parades and stuff.
I just love her work. Seeing the muscles and bones overlaid on an actual horse is incredible.
Wow! That's truly awesome! Would have loved to be there live for the presentation!
What a great idea! So much better than an anatomy photo in a book.
WOW. That's really impressive. Talk about anatomy coming to life!
Very Very Cool!
