In the 50s last night. Loved it.
After chores I finished mowing the big pasture.
The temperature was still fine when I went back to the house.
Gary spent a lot of time pulling and hanging garlic. He has gotten almost 25 orders in one day.
Company coming for dinner so we spent some time cleaning the house and I made (per Gary's request) another rhubarb desert. This time I divided the batter into two pie plates.
Dan, Fritch and Christopher arrived at 6 for a spaghetti dinner.
We spent hours talking about old times. Dan's wife, Lorna, passed away a few weeks ago. She was my bridge buddy and Fritch was her good friend. We have not seen Christopher (Fritch's son) for a very long time. He is now working part time in New York City and will be getting back into show biz. At any rate....we were all happy to be together. Very healthy to be able to talk about Lorna.
Chores at 8....now it's 10.
Night all.

This sounds like a lovely visit. It's good to be able to talk about loss. BTW, the dessert looks very good!
Sounds like a great way to talk about those we knew and that have passed on.
