25 years old today! So proud of our oldest grandchild. She is finishing up her third year of teaching and is about to visit her other grandparents in Croatia, where she can enjoy one of her favorite spots. She brings such positive energy wherever she goes.
I can't believe we had another splendiferous day. A little cooler and so perfect.
After chores I went down to Wegmans to pick up 4 things and came home with three bags full....and heavy. Tomorrow there will be 9 of us for dinner so I needed to make sure I was all set. Gary continued working in the gardens and we put the hibiscus plants and ferns out on the porch, where they will remain until it gets too cold. The big plants are staying inside this summer. They are just too huge to move. Two Norfolk Pines, a fig tree and two elephant ears.
Gary has 1 pot of parsley and 4 pots of greens growing on the tree stump table. There is no roof over that area so it gets the sun. An experiment.
We have strawberries by the Studio and in the kitchen garden. They are looking very strong.
This hibiscus blossom did not last very long. Going outside is quite an adjustment even tho the plants are in the shade.
Once again, I did not feel like cooking. Made a salad and
ordered a thin crust pizza from Wegmans.
Little Wonder is thinking about taking a nap before we go out and tuck in the ponies.
No rest for the wicked.
The plexiglass is off the widows in the stalls. I'll bet Rebel's head will be out his window tomorrow morning.
Night all.
