Equal Grounds and Native

What an interesting day.

Rebel stuck his head out the window when he heard me open the gate.
Chores as usual.

After the stalls were cleaned and dinner was set up I went over to the indoor to pick the manure.  They have been going in there more than I thought.

I grabbed a quick shower and at 10:45 we were in Rochester for a photoshoot at Equal Grounds Coffee House.

We were asked to meet there with the County Executive, Adam Bello, to take some photos for a handout (that had some Senior Citizens in it).  His campaign manager, JW Cook, ran for the County Legislature when Mary and I were running for Town Board and he was our connection.  The photographer was great!

We were finished a little before noon and met Jenny for lunch at Native.  She and Scott had given us a gift card for Christmas and we were finally using it.
What a spectacular restaurant.  Gary and I ordered the same lunch (a turkey sandwich on a Chibata roll topped with avocado, onion marmalade, bacon and more with a side of homemade chips.  Gary also had a cup of soup.
Jenny had a mango/avacado salad with lime vinegarette.  So good.

The atmosphere was just right and they had those glass folding doors on two walls that opened up to a patio with tables and conversation areas.  I would highly recommend this place!!!
Home before 2 and took a break.  Around 5:30 I started mowing the lawn as our fluffy dandelions were absolutely out of control.  Gary got all the hand mowing finished as well.

I even mowed around the big pasture.  By the time I tucked in the ponies, the flies were bad and they were hanging out in the run-in.

We just had French toast for dinner at 8:30.

Night all.

Bluebells, or Scilla? is that Lily of the Valley? The pasture looks like a bowling green, and flies, a sure sign of warmer weather.

Nice you can stand with an outstanding county executive as Adam Bello. Truly a good politician for our area. Kathy
