A New Year's Eve Jam

Drab.  Just so drab and dark all day long.  Rebel was slightly better this morning and after chores he was not behaving himself.

It was supposed to rain so we put the hay nets under the shed roof.

The ponies ate there for awhile, then went out to the mushy pastures to get wet and dig them up.

After chores I did some shopping for a friend and picked up some shavings at Country Max.  Changed sheets and did a lot of laundry....but that was about it.

Tucked the ponies in for dinner.  Rebel was much better than he was yesterday but is not back to normal.

Chores are so much easier when you don't have to worry about snow and blanketing....and hot water and all those other things.
We are going to a friend's house for a couple of hours for a jam.  The last time we participated was in 2019 and it was so much fun.  I will finish this post later and hope to have some videos.
Back from the jam.  Almost midnight.
Great company...lots of good food.  Sara is always the hostess with the mostest.

We played from 8-10.

I could listen to Doug and Bill all night.  Two pros!!!

Night all.

Great music, great company, and mush in the paddock, how quickly snow can turn to slush . Happy New Year to you all at Skoog Farm.
