A Busy Day

It was cold last night, but in the high 40s when I let the boys out this morning.  We finally reached 67!

Needless to say, I took off their sheets.

Alice got here at 10....the boys knew what that meant.

As per usual, Buddy was groomed first and Alice spent an entire hour on him.
By the way, this is Buddy's 1st Skoog Farm anniversary.

Rebel always waits for his turn like a true gentleman.
He also was worked on for an hour and almost fell asleep.

Buddy got bored and was busy for awhile, but ended up being a very good boy.

Little Wonder was with us the entire time.

I'd like to think that the majority of their hair is now off.  They looked great and are starting to get a little shine in spots.

I love having Alice here for spa days and she feels the same way....really loves the boys.

Gary worked on the gardens this afternoon.

and I mowed the lawn.
We are still loaded with flowers.  Now the tulips are showing up.

I finished doing my laundry....barn ensembles.
Dinner was simple.  Grilled Italian sausage with peppers, onions and tomatoes with a salad.  I made croutons today and they were delicious.
By evening chore time it looked like rain was on the way....and we are going to have some very cold nights.  Yuck.  LW was not so sure he wanted to go out as it did start raining....he toughed it out.

Tucked the boys in and that's that.
Night all.

Wow, those flower beds are amazing! Just beautiful.
I bet the guys enjoyed their spa day.

I used to have someone come over and help clean up the girls at my place but she didn't stick with it at all.
Oh well, I just wear out my arms and wear lots of mule hair!

Has it been that long since Buddy became a member of the Family Skoog? Time is going too fast! The flower beds are stunning. Once again, I am envious of all that beauty. It got below freezing last night but we are in for a warm spell.
