A Red Sky Morning

Why does a red sky always mean something is on the way?

Seamus preferred hanging out by the gate to the stalls this morning....

and Ronin was trying to communicate with Janet.
Rebel did not skip a beat in the eating department and seems to be getting along fine without his front tooth.

Around 12:30 it started to snow like crazy....just as predicted.
Gary had his first PT session at 1, and ironically she worked with me many years ago when I had a knee replacement.  He did very well and had a visitor this afternoon.  Right now he is pretty pooped.

We got quite a bit of snow in a short period of time and there was some drifting.  The farrier was supposed to be here at 2:30 but we switched it to Sunday as the driving conditions were too bad.

The horses were smart enough to stay in the run in or under the shed roof.

I made chicken soup this afternoon, but neither of us are hungry yet.
Night all.

I wonder if it was the same snow storm that just swept through here. We got over 5 inches and we were plowed out by 10AM.

It is heavy and wet with muck underneath.

This looks like the most snow you've had all winter. The ponies are no dummies! Gary has a great place to rest and recuperate.
