The heat was on today....plenty of humidity. I started off my day with a piece of peach pie!
The amaryllis blossoms were totally out of control....
and we had more hibiscus blossoms.
Do you like avocado toast? Made some guac and topped it with slices from our first tomatoes for lunch.
At 5 I headed over to Nancy and Tom's as She Sings had a gig tonight for the neighborhood.
We were all set up by 6:15.
A couple of the Buskers came along with many of the neighbors.
We started playing our first song and by the time we finished, a monsoon blew in and everyone helped us get our instruments and equipment into the garage and out of the weather. By then, there was no turning back....we could not go out on the wet yard and ended up singing a few songs inside with all who wanted to join us. Very disappointing, BUT we are playing at the market tomorrow morning and will just use the same set list. Of course, on the way home the sky was beautiful.

Inside or out, better to avoid that weather, snd I am sure it was a great as ever.
Oh I think that would be a success because you all had more fun singing? Hopefully you are not getting what our area got yesterday.
