“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” — Elliott Erwitt

On Friday night I showed Ariana what you could do with a flash in the dark. Here are some of her shots. By the way, someone suggested that we get her a camera....she came with one and is catching up with me regarding number of shots per day (at least 100).

  1. Wow....I have never tried this! Do you adjust your flash so that the colors are still....well colors instead of something shiny?

Thank you for the explanation for the masks... I would never have figured it out!

The donations for BLES... there's a "donate" button on the BLES web page (you can find the link in my last post) -the money goes towards the rescue of the elephants. I donated through Pay Pal.

  2. Those pictures are beautiful. I've never tried that and would probably not do a great job, but it might be fun to learn how at least.

I read your previous post. Glad to hear you had a nice ride on Berlin. Looks like she's a real sweetheart with a kind disposition. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their time with her.

Thank you for reading The Skoog Farm Journal. Your comments are appreciated!
