READY TO ROLL!

By 6am I could not stay in bed for one more minute.  Slept well last night and was ready to get on with the day.  By 7:10 the sun was coming up and it was quite motivating.  I had a banana and another cup of chicken soup (just to make sure my stomach was really back to normal) and got into my morning groove (with my repaired little Sony Cyber-shot in my pocket).

There is nothing like fresh air to clear out your head!  About 10 degrees this morning, but going up to 21 or so.

I think the ponies were as happy as I was to have the sun on us.

Seymour and Sidney even ventured out to the paddock.

Have to go to Wegmans and prepare for my class this afternoon.  Back later.

I bought about 6 bags of groceries, came home and before I knew it, it was time for class.

As I changed the it from Tuesday to Thursday, there were only 3 students today.

Sandy, Mel and Tina.

Sandy got a coffee table book of horse photographs for Christmas and she is doing a drawing from one of them.  It is going to be sensational....right horse people?

Mel has returned to painting with watercolors.

The subject....a buffalo.

Tina decided to add some grass to her drawing of Tootsie Louise and DJ.

Tonight when I did chores, I really felt normal.  What a simple pleasure.

Tried to take some shots in the dark and bombed on all of them.  Works better when the ponies are outside with no background.  A flash inside brings out orbs.

and weird eyes....

Our brave yucca plant is hanging in there, in spite of the low temperatures.  So tough.

Tried to make a real dinner tonight.  Earlier I prepared a mild chili and served it with a salad that met all my expectations.  Red leaf lettuce, onions, 2 oranges, a banana and a little crumbly blue.

I put the chili on rice, so it was more like rice and beans.  I went heavier on the rice than the chili and did not load up.  My stomach seems to be ok with it.  Yey!!!!!!!!!!!

My "pay it forward pal," Roger (that would be Tina's generous husband), sent over a terrific DVD player today.  We threw ours in the garbage a few weeks ago and he set us up!  I was amazed that I hooked it up the right way the first time.

So, we had dinner theater in front of the fire.  Thanks Rog!

Things are getting back to normal.  Of course all your comments made me feel better.   Am I glad or what?
Night all.

Yah! I'm glad you're better! Isn't it amazing how warm it can feel if the sun's out and there's no wind, even if it's really cold?

Very happy to hear that you are feeling better! Love the pictures of your art class. It makes me feel like I am there. There is nothing more relaxing and fun than making art.
