I felt normal when it was chore time and it went downhill from there.
Berlin's left eye was swollen and runny, so I went to the house for some warm water and ointment to see if that would make a difference.
Now that the Lodge in the Park has been completed, I stopped over for a tour.
A group called the Sweden Foundation hired a grant writer over three years ago
and this is the end result. Last weekend it was rented out for the first time
and both groups were very happy with it.
There is inside seating for 99 and there are 6 big picnic tables out on the porch.
The gas fire place adds a little ambiance.
The kitchen is very efficient and there is a pass through to the main room.
There are two nicely tiled bathrooms
and plenty of room at the entrance for hanging up coats.
A nice wide sidewalk leads to the front door from one of the parking areas.
This pond is to the East of the Lodge.
So far, almost 30 reservations have been made.
It's going to be a great place to hold all kinds of events.
From there I went to Agape,
and by the time I got back to the farm I was all stuffed up and coughing.
Went to bed for the afternoon and just did a steamer to
try and clear out my sinuses.
Gary had a dinner meeting tonight and I had French toast.
Time to get back under the covers.
Night all.

Looks like a nice place to hold events. French toast is the perfect comfort food. We had pancakes. Hope you feel better by tomorrow!
