Finally...Some Sunshine

Cooler than yesterday and a very muddy, grey morning.

We were in the mood for a good old fashioned lunch...
Grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup.
It never gets old.

Late afternoon the wind was kicking up and the pups were not that hot to stay outside.

Things were finally winding down upstairs.
Gary gathered up about 15 trips worth of paint, drop clothes, garbage and more
and brought it downstairs to be put away when he recovers.
I was happy to see this quilt back up on the wall.
It was produced over 15 years ago by my students.  Each appliquéd a square and Connie Bonner put it all together (she also did one of the squares).
I actually had the energy to help reorganize the rooms
and really appreciated the early evening light.

We had homemade pizza and a salad for dinner.
 Thin crust....yum.
I just remembered to photograph day two of blossom #1.
So different in the dark.

Night all.

Love your quilt. Nice to have the rooms finished. The blooms are gorgeous. Hope for sunshine tomorrow!

You are right, grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup never gets old. This cold weather on the other hand, really is, isn't it?
