A much more reasonable start to the day! Not so muggy and a little cooler.
All the water has produced a gazillion weeds in my beautiful sand ring...perfect growing conditions for junk. Now I will have to get it rototilled again when it dries out.
Barb helped with chores this morning and we were done a little after 8:30.
Took a shower and headed down to the farm market with Gary.
There were more vendors there today and a great selection of fruit and veggies.
No way could we resist these homemade fried cakes.
Three for a buck!
A moderate amount of activity on the Canal.
There is almost always someone traveling on the bike path.
We bought everything we wanted and took some time to socialize with friends.
Walked back to Main Street.... past Bittersweet....
and over to Java.
Just when we were ready to cross the street, Madonna parked her car and we asked her to join us for some coffee.
After a lot of chatter we went back to the farm.
Today we bought peaches, red leaf lettuce, eggplant, donuts and cherries.
Gar spent some time working on his chair for the Take A Seat Auction, which takes place at Bemus Point on Wednesday night.
I started working on dinner before going out to do chores. Jenny came up to groom PC.
Tomorrow I will have to pickle these beets.
Invited Randy and Arlene over for dinner! The least we could do after he rescued us from the heat yesterday.
We had a red leaf lettuce salad, pasta, eggplant parm and crusty bread.
Delish. Made little Mexican sundaes for dessert.
Phoebe fell asleep under a pillow!
The moon was pretty amazing tonight.
How's that for full?
Randy and Gary beat Arlene and me in Sequence... we started out so well!
I am so tired!
Night all.

That chair is gorgeous! And, so are the peaches. Nothing better than a peach shortcake.
nNo wonder you are tired you cram so much into one day. Loved your Farmers market. I wish we had one close by.
Pickled beetroot - the perfect accompaniment to cold roast beef-
gorgeous.
