WELCOME LOUISE - FOLLOWER #105

A fellow Western New Yorker! What do you know? She can't be too far away from Skoog Farm.
Louise just retired in January and one of her interests is finding new homes for retiring Thoroughbred race horses...which I think is a particularly good deed. You can find her at:

Thank you for finding my Journal.

Love your new header, Lori!
My dad is doing better; we're on the slow road to recovery, but that's to be expected after three months of surreal.
Isolde hurt ripped herself under her front leg. She was stitched nicely, but has had to be restitched as she keeps reopening her wounds. From what I hear, she's healing well, but it's been a trauma for Anette...
We hope to get be heading south within a week, but I am keeping my expectations low - until I am truly at home, where I so long to be.

Thanks for sharing yours in the meantime!!!

Hi Lori!
Thanks for the very warm welcome.

I'm a volunteer for the Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Retirement Program's Trainer's Listings. You can find the listings here:

They're kind of old and tired right now, as we've been on hiatus during the winter when the track is closed. We're starting up again on May 1, and I can't wait to get back to the track.

I think that I'm on the other side of Rochester from you, near Lake Ontario and Irondequoit Bay.

Talk about small world, you'll laugh at how I found your journal. I have a new and very nice follower named Sandra, from Slovenia. She follows your journal. and I found it from her blog. Nothing like going around the world to find a next door neighbor.
