This morning when I let the dogs out the temperature was in the high 30s.
To the west the sky was very dark...a preview of what was to come.
I put Dreams sheet on before she finished her grain... then she went out to do the morning check. She is getting pretty good at finding what pasture gate is open.
It was very windy and I'm glad I put on their sheets.
For the first time, I let King Mustafa and Dream go in the back pasture together.
I was down below and loved getting this group of photos.
The rest of the herd was very excited to get into the two pastures that KM has been in...they have been out of there for over a week, and that is rare. They ran around and dug things up.
Dream ended up with them and KM had the big pasture to himself.
After lunch I went to Brockport for a haircut and ran a couple of errands, before ending up at Wegmans. Jen brought us this bag from Las Vegas (lost wages). I hope you all have reusable bags...it's a great way to stop wasting a gazillion of the plastic ones.
Around three we sat in front of the fire and snuck a piece of leftover pie...just a little piece....
I hit the couch, but did not catch a nap.
When Barb arrived to do chores I went out and got KM and brought him in with the other horses. After a few minutes, he and Dream went in the indoor for some quiet time together.
When I took them back outside, I let him meet Masterpiece....
and Pony. Tomorrow we will try them altogether for a little while.
I was very happy that Masterpiece was pretty quiet (seeing he is the only other gelding).
Around 6:15 we had a little snow.
The sky would go from dark to light and back again.
Everything is growing like crazy...tomorrow I have to mow the lawn.
The pups did not have time to get too filthy tonight as we were not outside that long.
They love to sleep in their bed under my computer table when I am doing this.
As for dinner....I made a large spinach salad with hard boiled eggs, bacon, onion, mushrooms and croutons...
and we ate the leftover chicken and lomain from last night.
It's not even 8 o'clock and Iamoutahere! Night all.

Love the sedums - very pretty!
King M seems to be really settling in well, and it's so nice that Dream now has a special friend.
