Hey Phoebe, have you seen Dr. Porter?
I'm lookin'....can't you tell?
Could you just tell us where he is Frank?
Headed out to the barn around 7:15.
Beautiful sky....
Target is always the last horse to finish his grain. He lets me know when he is ready to join the others.
Back to the big pasture today....I have to mow it tomorrow.
Today I mowed the lawn and the perimeter of the property. That way we can ride on a nice path.
At 10:30 my class arrived and we met on the back porch with some lemonade.
During the summer, most of my students are elsewhere...but I usually have 4 or 5 each Tuesday.
All are working on new projects.
Now that all the wheat is up, the farmer came back to disk up the fields. It's about 100 acres and it took him all day.
I had to go down to the feed store to pick up a bag of dog food. On my way home I drove by the Welcome Center and there were 14 or 15 boats parked from bridge to bridge. Several of them were here a day or two ago, so they must like our Village. Lots to do and good for our economy.
After evening chores, I took a tour of the gardens...there is so much color! Gary has been working everyday on edging and mulching, getting ready for the garden tour at the end of the month.
We hit 87 degrees today, fortunately there was a nice breeze. The sunset tonight was beautiful.
I still have to put in the horses and take a nice long shower. Night All!

Your gardens are looking stunning with such vivid color. Bet the flowers loved the 87 degree weather. That would be a heat wave here on the Coast. Go 100 miles inland and it would be a cool sigh of relief compared to temperatures of 112. Funny how relative life is. Me, I'm a coast girl through and through. It was in the low 90's at Cuneo Creek and I was not too comfy.
I'm lucky, I've only mowed our lawns once so far this summer. Beautiful pictures as usual.
Very beautiful pictures. I love the flowers.
Hi Lori. Your lillies are lovely.
Cheers, Mike and Ann.
Dr. Porter sure got the messgae from the girls. His hot Flroida heart is beating afster just thinking of the girls running all over the 100 acres in search of him. (You mowed 100 acreas???) Porter is considering coming by boat now that he sees how easy that would be. (And he'd be good for the economy, too.) In the meantime Hot Stuff Porter has sent another cuasual snapshot taken while waiting for the gorgeous Skoog girls to arrive at HIS favorite beach. (Better tell the girls to get a fresh bow in the fur!)
