“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” — Elliott Erwitt

I know this will be difficult for all of you to believe....just didn't take my usual 50 pictures today.

Did chores and at 10:30 drove down to Apple Creek Farm to mow the lawn. Got home....ate lunch, then dragged the outdoor and indoor arena. Worked Abbe. On to evening chores.

This photo is for Frank at Tampa Daily Photo.....catching the news while sweeping out the feed room.

Put the horses out and hurried back to the house to finish dinner. Randy and Arlene went away for the weekend so we invited them over.

It was late when they left, and I caught this shot in the dark.

A moon shot... I'm shot! Night all.

  1. Boy, that is a quiet day for you. Still sounds like you did plenty. I'm about off to bed too. My friend's memorial service tomorrow.

  2. I love your idea of a 'day off' Lori. Many 'days off' like that would about finish most of us.
    Regards, Mike.

  3. Well, now we have proof, Lori, how utterly distracting (and exhausting) the television in the feed room is.
    TV OFF, 50 photos.
    TV ON, FIVE.
But you saved it with a great moon shot. (You astronaut, you!)
