The weather was perfect.
After lunch, the kids played some games....
while the adults sat in the shade.
First it was the water balloon toss....
Then the egg toss....Coop was not happy when it broke all over his arm (thrown to him by Mom).
On the other hand, Finn had egg all over his arm and did not mind it at all.
They also got in a great kickball game, and then went for the cake and ice cream.
Presents were opened....
A Darth Vader piniata took a beating...and it was time to go home.
Finn ended the day by blowing up a balloon...a big one. They all had a great time.
Darrin and I went out to Glen Darach to take Abbe home after her lesson.
I groomed her, then Andrea took over. A couple of new things. Bit guards and velcro bell boots on the front legs.
After line driving her for about 15 minutes, Andrea hooked up Abbe by herself.
She stood there like a champ to get hooked and pulled the cart. This was my original Meadowbrook and it was too heavy for Abbe. Andrea now has it, and we used it as mine was taken home.
Everytime she works a horse, she does their feet to keep them in good shape....
Next, a nice sponging. We loaded her on the trailer, and 10 minutes later ran into rain that was hard enough to have cars pulling off the road. Home about 4:45 to bad news.
