Sunny with a high of 75 degrees today.
I went across the street to talk to the operator of the CAT as we have been waiting to have some boulders placed in our front yard (that they dug up putting in the water line). Many of the properties have them. Can you see how big they are in the photo below?
After that I raked the indoor.
It's that time. Gary is starting to rip out the gardens.
The Finks and the Skoog's are taking lunch over to Mel's tomorrow so I made another batch of fresh sauce. That is really it for the tomatoes.
It's loaded with meatballs and ready to go.
Alicia is bringing a salad and dessert. I will make the pasta when we get there.I was pretty lazy this afternoon. Read a few chapters of my new Grisham book (The King of Torts) and attempted to take a nap.
All of a sudden, the milk weed has exploded!
I can't believe how many flowers are still blooming.
Gary had grill duty and I made the rest of our dinner.
Delicious.
The rustic tart I made yesterday was just right. It's a good thing it is small.
Night all.

Always...amazing flowers!
Agree your flower garden is lovely. Lis
I love all your gardens. Milkweed exploding here, too.
Nice little zinnias. Are those Profusion? Those things amaze me. I've probably only trimmed a half dozen dead-heads off them all year. The flowers just never fade.
