#7363 The Water Line Saga

6:45am....beep.beep.beep.beep.

The crew was on duty before I was even awake.

After they got things organized across the street they started digging a deep hole (at least 5 feet) in our front yard.
When that was done (9:30) they started drilling under the road.
Little Wonder was not thrilled by the noise.
At noon I met Shaggy S. at Rorbachs for lunch.  We went to High School together and since our 60th reunion was cancelled (yay)...decided to get together and catch up.  Two years ago we met at the same restaurant after discovering that we have been living 25 miles from each other for decades.
We both ordered Reubens and German potato salad
and gabbed for a couple hours.  Nice!
By the time I got back to the farm, the hole was dug.
The sun was shining into the library and Little Wonder could not wait for the noise to stop.

Awhile ago, I told you that I joined a Women's Equine Art group (almost 12,000 from around the world).  I post my photographs there and have been asked if various artists can use them as a reference.  Yesterday I posted a photo of Abbe and by today an artist had completed a colored pencil drawing of her.  You may recall that another friend....
Brenda Cretney....did a watercolor painting of her a few years ago (pardon the reflection in the glass).
Then, Susan D. did a painting of Berlin.
Today Brenda posted a painting of Wallace....another one of my photographs.
Looks just like him!

By late afternoon, the copper tubing was under the road and made it's way to our yard.
(still waiting)
Finally, they started filling in the hole.

Now it looks like this.  Eventually they will come back to grade and seed it.

That's it.  I'm not making dinner.
Night all.

LW, What a commotion, you need ear muffs. Dinner, I would give it a total miss too.

Charlie would not have liked it either.
Ha...I didn't make supper last night either, I was working in the yard all day and just didn't want to stop to make supper.
I love those paintings!
