A grey start and very windy all day long.
Rebel and the girls were naked by the time I finished chores.
I loaded Berlin's stall up with extra shavings for her birthday.
I had a cauliflower in the frig and decided to make some soup.
Cauliflower, onions, grated carrots, celery, added 2 1/2 cups of water and some
Better that Boullion chicken stock.
After everything was nice and tender, I put it in the food processor
(with the stock) and returned it to the pot.
Then I made a white sauce
and added a heaping cup of grated cheese
(whatever was on hand) and a couple shakes of Romano.
Plus a squirt of honey mustard....salt and pepper.
After that I went to Wegmans and bought a major load of groceries.
Now I had all the ingredients to make bean salad.
Black beans, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, canilleni
and green beans. Chopped up some little peppers
and added a sliced, par boiled carrot and minced onion.
The marinade.....cider vinegar, oil and sugar.
Mixed it all together
and put it in jars.
The tulips are not quite ready to open, be we have some beautiful color
showing up in the gardens.
I love having bean salad on hand, as I put in in our dinner salads.
It was delicious!
Night all.
Time to go out and give Berlin another treat for her birthday.

Your soup is a meal all by itself. Berlin, treats galore and lots of love.
