It was a typical winter morning....grey, ice on the water trough, a little new snow. The horses have settled into the cold weather routine and things went smoothly.
Abbe would not stay out of my face.
After chores I took a shower and drove down to Wegmans to pick up some groceries as we have friends coming over for the weekend.
Thought I would try a few close ups....
Reading Dogs Great and Small met at Holley Elementary this afternoon. DJ and Phoebe posed for Christmas photos before they started working with the kids.
Lizzie, Larry and Fred arrived around 2pm. Phoebe was quite happy to have the company. After a pasta dinner, we sat around the fire and caught up on the latest happenings.

Do the dogs read quietly to themselves or do they read stories out loud for the children to hear?
