Still on the cool side.
Not too many words today. My band disbanded and I am very sad about that. This afternoon I went down to a jam at the guitar shop for awhile and have no clue what I am going to do after having met weekly for 6 years and having gigs. I'm sitting here rolling my foot on a frozen bottle of water. Yesterday it took me forever to get through to a podiatrist and I can't get an appointment until October 31st. It's going to be a long month. I feel like I'm walking on a rock.
Evening chores at 7.
Tomorrow I am going to have to get motivated.

But what about this reunion?????
In 1986-87 we had an exchange student from Germany who lived with us for a year. We have kept in touch all this time and she came back to the states decades ago. When Sabine found out Jenny was in Sweden she made arrangements to fly to Stockholm so they could spend a little time together. She arrived this evening and it looks like it was a very emotional time for both. I'm so happy they could do this. Sisters!!!!

WOW didn’t have a clue the band would end. How did this come about and what was the reason. I know I am asking noise questions which I know you certainly don’t have to answer. Did you have any idea this was going to happen?

" The Skoog Band"....start a new one with others, they should surely give you a reason. What a reunion, we had a student from Japan stay with us years ago and she and a friend travelled back and stayed with us a few years ago., It was such a happy time until we said farewell all over again. Those photo say it all and so much more.
The reunion was awesome. Regarding your foot, you could get some more help quicker if your GP recommended Physical Therapy which is probably what the Podiatrist will recommend. For my shoulder, foot, knee, back, elbow, hands issues I told my GP first. She arranged me to see PT and the wait and good examinations where much faster than waiting months to get to a specialist.
Did you have any idea the band was breaking up? I must say I am shocked by this. On a brighter note, those two look like they could be sisters.
