One more beautiful day in the books.
Rebel was a little better than he was yesterday morning. Still had on a simple boot with a pad and no drawing salve.
I used my sled to take out some hay and it spooked the horses. They both actually cantered and were on high alert.
Scott came up to help him with some painting stuff and Gary picked a basket of veggies for him to take home.
He and Little Wonder get along great.
Before he left I started making dinner....and eventually Scott and Jenny were invited to join us. We ate out on the porch.
Scalloped potatoes with polka kielbasa, peas
and a spinach salad.
I'm still not eating normally and decided to try the prescription given to me when I went to the Doctor. It's supposed to help my stomach. We shall see if this works or not.
Chores before dessert. Rebel walked in very well.
The bottom of the boot was gone and so was the pad, so I just took it off and he will be naked tonight. Tomorrow morning the farrier will be coming and I'm not sure if he can handle it. His feet have been breaking up and he needs a trim.
At least he should be comfortable, considering all the shavings in his stall.
Gary picked a container of fresh raspberries, which were served on vanilla ice cream. (I did not eat this).
Now I am waiting to see how I feel later.
Night all.

Hopefully she can just give him a rasping trim and not touch his soles. And hopefully he can stand for that?
I hope your foot is doing better also.
Rebel is moving well. Val has a good suggestion about rasping, if he can take it. Take your medicine, you and Rebel need to get better. Ice cream and raspberries, oh my!
