Tornado Warnings/Watches

Weird weather today. For a couple of hours this afternoon, weathermen and women were breaking into the local tv stations to keep us up to date on the possibility of a tornado in our area.  Fortunately it did not get too close to us, but we had a few downpours and one places had huge hail.  We had a gig at the Chili Community Center tonight and wondered if we would even have an audience.  Things started settling down, so we were still on duty.  Left here at 3:30 and got home just before 9.  The audience was not as big as usual, but they were very receptive and many of the people sang along with us.

Morning chores were quite normal.

It was a little cooler and Gary spent a lot of time painting on the back porch.

We had a bowl of pasta for lunch as I was not going to be around for dinner.
Fortunately Jenny came up to put the horses in.
We got to the Community Center early and were set up faster than EVER.

We practiced for almost an hour and quit when people started to arrive.  It poured.
Little Wonder misses me when I'm not here.
Night all.

The last photo...that face. Melts my heart. You had a full day, but then you often do. Good news ...no tornado. We got clipped by the outer edge of on in 2015. That was bad enough.
