Getterdone...

Another beautiful day from beginning to end.

After chores I needed to use up some apples and made APPLE BETTY.  So easy and so delicious.

Jenny and Cooper arrived

around 11 to help us get our brush out by the road for the town pickup tomorrow morning.

Gary and I had already started and with their help it was done in no time.

Afterward we sat out on the porch and had the Apple Betty.

Such interesting conversations!  Loved Cooper's participation.

Gary was having the North garden rototilled at 3, so I went over and removed some of the weird things that had grown there.  All volunteers.

Now we are going to have to seed over half of the area with grass, as the only thing going there will be garlic.  1,000 plants will go in in a week or so.

I took a nap this afternoon and then it was chore time.

Seamus and Goliath....

Tucked in the ponies.  The temperature in the barn was 60.  Not bad!

The sky was gorgeous to the West and to the East.

Dinner and now we are off duty.
