Ahhhhhhh! Today the temperature was in the high 60s and we all loved it.
The ponies were doing their thing....
I thought I had an appointment this morning but it was rescheduled.
Janet babysat.
We met our friends, Ed and Lisa, at McColleys for lunch. They sold their house and tomorrow, are permanently moving to Baltimore where they bought at 21st floor condo overlooking the water.
Ed has been an avid gardener and is responsible for all the San Marzano tomatoes we have been growing for the past several years. He also made our gorgeous dining room table out of our fence boards....an amazing wood worker. Lisa has just retired and they are going to be loving their new lives in the city.
Seeing that it was cool, I decided to mow the lawn. Here is a view of Bohemia from the lawn tractor.
It looks like a jungle.
Evening chores were a little different tonight.
Ronin put on his big boy pants and decided it was time to stick up for himself. I had already put Rebel in his stall and he decided he would have some fun chasing after Seamus.
Fortunately they all ended up where they belonged.
Gary worked on the North garden and came in with a honkin' sized onion, some RED tomatoes and a few potatoes.
Our first tomato sandwich of the season. Little Wonder actually tried a piece of mine!
So good.
Night all.

Yay for cool weather! Your farm looks green a beautiful. Mine looks overgrown! Your friends are onto a new chapter, if I didn't have the horses we would be, too.
