Finally. Last night and twice today.
Chores. Pulled out the bolted spinach and picked the snow peas....quick trip to Wegmans and Country Max for shavings.
Apparently the veggies are not the only things producing.
Earlier in the week I had purchased watermelon, a cantaloupe and grapes. Today, while the power was off for a couple hours (storm) I put it all together and made a couple to go containers for Jenny.
Can't beat this for a go to snack.
It rained so hard Gary's water collection tank filled to the top and overflowed after he filled several 5 gallon buckets. Look who found it.
I wanted to try the snow peas, so I made a quick stir fry
and we finished off some leftovers.
The sweet potato fries and ribs were left from last nights dinner at the Village Inn and I just happened to have leftover coleslaw. Delicious.
We are loving our cool house. Really needed a break from the heat.
Night all.

Your garden is full to overflowing, and there is nothing to compare with home grown.
Nothing like a wonderful garden...and some good rain!
