We got half an inch of rain last night and the "pond" in the pasture was even bigger. I wonder how long it will take to get absorbed.
After chores I drove down to the Farm Market to check out 4 friends who were playing there.
They are members of the Brockport Buskers and got together for this gig.
"Busker's Hideaway". was written by Kathy, on the far left.
Linda sang the lead on "Make Me An Angel" and Kathy did the chorus using her new harmonizer.
Lauren had the lead on "Wagon Wheel." We sang along at the end.
Nancy and Doug, from She Sings were there also.
The "Bread Man" was there and we were given samples....again.
Greg was there for percussion, and as usual made all the songs even better.
Our friends, Brenda and Al were there and I invited them up to get some beets.
Brenda is another one of Little Wonder's favorites.
Our apple tree has hundred and hundreds of little apples...
and the tomato plants are nearly 5 feet tall.
The quartet decided to spend some time in the indoor this afternoon. No wonder I could not see them.
I turned yesterdays beets into Polish beets with sour cream and dill. Hots and beans for diner.
I did manage to wash sheets and other laundry this morning. Now all I want to do is go to bed.
Chore duty tonight. It was muggy and buggy so the ponies were happy to go in.
Night all.

Muggy and buggy sure go together. My mules have been hanging out in the brush to keep the flies off their faces and standing butt to nose to swish flies off.
Looks like you went from no rain to monsoon season.
Our creek bed is still without water in places. That hasn't happened in many years.
