#7316 Bridge and Eight Days A Week

A busy day.  Gorgeous weather.  My alarm clock went off at 7.

Gary spent a lot of time in this garden today, getting rid of all the "extras."  It will be beautiful when he is finished.

With all the rain we have had, the grass seed I threw in the outdoor arena months ago has finally started filling in.  If it ever drys out, I can't wait to mow it and turn it into soft footing for the ponies.
I raked the indoor and did a couple loads of laundry....

before going down to the Library to play bridge (substituting for my friend Terry).

A little before 7 I arrived at the Welcome Center for Summer Serenades, featuring EIGHT DAYS A WEEK....All Beatles music.  There were no parking places, as about 300 people showed up and they were even early.

One of the best parts of the night was all the people singing along with the band.  Knew every word.
Gary and his committee members have worked hard to keep this going for 10 years.
Here they are with college President, Heidi M., who has been so supportive ever since she arrived in Brockport.  Our community really enjoys the music every Thursday night in July and August.
There must have been over 30 people watching from across the canal, along with kayakers and boaters who were parked there for the night.

Mariah, Jacquie and I were dancing up on the street....laughing our heads off.
We got 5 or 6 others to join us eventually.

Almost dark when I got home.
Night all.

Its like a manic woodpecker! Can you imagine waking up to that with a hangover? Or a migraine?
