Bring On The Sunshine...

I just can't sleep at this time of year if it's light out, and have had trouble making it until 6am.

After chores I changed my clothes and headed for the village.
First stop was the Village Hall to buy tickets for an event being held Friday night
 Next...Agape.
Back in my groove.  20 minutes/elliptical, 20 minutes/treadmill and 20 minutes/bike.
 A quick stop at Wegmans.

I was back at the farm for lunch and got a reminder call from Hanny.
There was an association meeting at The Center, and since I am the liaison from the Town Board
I hot footed back down to the Village.
Roger and Todd have prepared the raised bed and in a short time we will be planting veggies here for the seniors.  Things are really shaping up!
The flowers I had dropped off last Friday are still looking gorgeous in the foyer.

The lawn needed mowing, so that was my next project.  I mow around the pastures and the girls were a little excited.

The house being built in the back 40 just keeps looking bigger and bigger.

What I would give to have someone come help get the flower gardens in some kind of order.  Those sticky weeds are driving me nuts.

The lawn always looks good when I'm done (mow over 1 1/2 acres).
I had time to make a good dinner.
The salad....spinach, oranges, bananas, golden raisins, onions and Feta cheese.
Pork chops with caramelized onions and a honey mustard sauce with a side of mashed potatoes.
I can't resist taking photos of these Gerber Daisies.  By the time I get into the library to do my posts, the setting sun is shining right on them.

Night all.

Another busy day. I really don't know how you do it all. Love the flowers.

Over an acre of lawn, about the same down here, thank goodness for ride-on mowers. And the gerberas, stunning colours.

Lori how beautiful your spring photos are. I'm now sitting in the dark, warmly wrapped getting going before everyone wakes up later. I love your Gerberas.

I think a garden at the senior center is a great idea. I know my mom and others kept a huge veggie and flower garden at their center and it was loved.
I can't sleep until 6am either! When the birds start to make noise pre dawn, I have to get up. But then I find I need to go to sleep as soon as the sun is down also!
Have a beautiful day!

Next week, (when school is out), all I want is to sleep until 7:00am! I think I will be able to, at least for a few days. Spring looks good in your neck of the woods.
