Still Waiting For Some Sunshine

We had some very strong winds last night... a couple chairs got blown around, and I expected more branches to be down.

Fortunately, the temperature in the barn was about 34 degrees.
I caught Little Wonder napping on the job.

After chores I did some horse laundry and then remade the sleigh beds with the clean sheets I washed yesterday.
Three guesses what we did this afternoon.
Gary had Yoga and a lunch meeting so we were on our own.

After Berlin was put down, Sabine (our exchange student from 86-87) said that if I sent her some of Berlin's tail she would make me a bracelet to remember her by.  Today she posted this photo, as my little package had arrived in Germany.  Of course that brought on some serious tears.....
She makes beautiful jewelry from horse hair and I can't wait to see what she comes up with.

Neither of us were hungry at dinner time so we had eggs.  Poached for me and a mushroom omelet for Gary.
Gary spent much of the afternoon reading in his favorite chair and I sat by the fire in the kitchen.
I guess until we have a sunny day, I just won't be taking a lot of pictures!
Night all.

Berlin will leave a memory that you can wear, and Sabine will weave some love into it too.No wonder there were tears, I would too.XXX
