Headed For The 80s This Week....

 Another gorgeous, sunny day.
Whenever I feed, the girls get to split 4 carrots...they are so spoiled.
I put out a little hay today as the temperature would have them taking breaks in the front paddock
or under the shed roof.  But no....they went straight for the grass and ignored it.
On her way home from work, Karen said she saw a hay field down.
Very early for these parts.  I'll bet it's very green and juicy!!!!
I was just getting ready to take a shower when someone stopped in for some manure (for his garden) and some rhubarb for his daughter.  I ended up being late to a meeting at the
Farmer's Museum.

The interior is well set up and decorated with beautiful antiques and accent pieces.
When I was running for office, we held a rally in the barn, which is in great shape.  We are hoping
to host a very interesting event there in September.  More to come on that.

I got to Agape around 10:30 and did my 20/20/20 work out.
Afterward, there was so much traffic on Main Street, I had to stop on the bridge.

 The Canal looked so peaceful.

Back at the farm I spent some time with the girls after
putting some grain in the feed room.

 Sidney was teasing me.
I had to run a couple of errands and passed this busy group.
They were very close to an access road and there was a pond across the street.
Sometimes I wonder how these babies are kept safe by their moms.
Before they can fly, they are so vulnerable....
Gary worked late and then spent a couple of hours with Finn and Coop.
I made a very simple dinner and decided to use these plates that a friend gave me
when she moved.  They are so appropriate.
A horse for me and a dog for Gary.
 Summer must be here early...
macaroni salad and corn on the cob.
Night all.

Summer us coming early. We're expecting 80's this week. I think all our horses might be a little spoiled!
