One Thing After Another

Last night there were severe storms near here with lots of damage...trees down, flooding and more.
We only had a little rain with thunder and lightning.

This morning I was prepared for a day of bad weather.
We had light rain and put the hay under the shed roof.

Between the moisture and the heat, everything has started to pop...you can watch the grass grow.
Our last chorus rehearsal at 10.  It went pretty well.
After that I went straight down to 58 Main for a Retired Teachers Luncheon.

 Bad, bad, bad.
When I got home, held a meeting for our JazzFestWest project.  We are going to be changing the location of the concert and got a lot of things squared away.

A little after 4:30 there was a major change in the atmosphere.  To the West it looked white, and to the North and East the sky was getting black.

Then, it all blew over and the sun came out.

Put the girls in and I'm glad I did not let them back out, as it started to pour and thunder off and on.

By then, I was in no mood to make dinner.
Went down to the Golden Eagle for a quick meal.
(Out twice in one day...not a good idea).
Night all.

We had some wicked weather here also, but thankfully it went all around where we live.

Just dumb luck I guess.

Glad you didn't get 'the bad stuff'!

Lori! The photo of the deep grey sky with the beautifully lit paddock fencing and trees is stunning!!!! I love it! It looks like a painting.

Twice in a day to eat out, a very good idea after such a busy time. Rain here, garden very soggy/ sodden. too wet to dig. Cheers, jean.

The skies looked very ominous - scary, especially with all of the terrible storms people have experienced.

We had rain Tuesday off and on evening through Wednesday. At times the rain was REALLY heavy. Our lawnmower is certainly earning its keep these days!

Is it just me or has your weather been exceptionally extreme this year? Your Spring seems a bit late, too.
Wishing you more settled atmospherics...
