Perfect weather today. Started off with a walk through the kitchen garden and picked a load of cucumbers and zucchini from the Studio garden.
Little Wonder knew something was cooking.....
We left at 10:30 and picked up Finn and Cooper on our way to Carol and Topper's house at the lake and he had to stay home.
They had not been there since they were little guys and over the years they have had a great relationship with the Botts. We were able to spend some time out on the deck and covered so many topics.
Many years ago I had taken a photo of Jenny in a kayak in front of their place and they had it framed. Finn and Coop wanted to check it out.
Before we left, Coop went out on the beach to pick up their red buoy that had broken loose and drifted into shore.
Don't have a clue why they thought this was so funny!
On our way home we treated the boys to lunch at the Farmer's Table.
As soon as we got back to the farm I mowed the lawn.

We are going to make dill pickles on Sunday...about 24 quarts
On the way home we stopped at Scott's house to check on the progress. Amazing! He was on the roof when we arrived,
The windows are now in the dormers and the one on the left as been sided and trimmed.
Doug was finishing up some of the framing. It won't be long now! Everything has been done so tastefully. Scott has continued working on the upstairs and still has so much more to go. The rest of the roof, siding, finishing the great room and more. It's so good that he knows how to do all this stuff.
Little Wonder approved.
