No snow. The water trough was frozen, but we ended up with sunshine and hit the 40s.
The boys went straight out to the pasture...no interest in hay.
After chores I had a major burst of energy. Did a couple loads of laundry, remade a couple beds (we have a guest coming in May for another dressage clinic at the Renaissance Equestrian Center). Made a brownie pie, Brought in some wood, started a fire and then took it easy.
The sky was brilliant!
The late afternoon sun made the library look very cozy.
This morning Gary drove to Albion to get his enhanced license. There were 17 people in front of him but he was done within an hour. Before dinner he was putting mulch in the raised beds. That soil is going to be so rich.
A very unusual dinner. Leftover chicken/lemon/rice soup....
bagels (I put pepper jelly on mine)....
and I had a little cottage cheese left and added some peaches.
Fortunately it tasted just fine.
Chores at 7:20. It was still very nice outside.
Night all.

You don’t waste a bit of food finding ways to use it up. Wise woman. It’s too expensive not to have a dinner like yours. Thanks for sharing your day. Kathy
What a great day!
Reading the news about the SAVE act. Not good.
