I sure appreciated the warm up today...mid 60s.
A little before 9 Scott arrived with the John Deers. We are so fortunate that he is able to service them.
Jenny got here a few minutes later and then they got down to business, loading the truck with more branches.
Scott suggested putting everything that would not fit on his trailer and he drove it over to the lane so we could put it there for the Town pickup.
Everything got raked up and is back to normal....except for two pine trees that need to be cut down as the gigantic part of the willow tree that came down during the ice storm stripped off all the branches.
By the time we were done, it was time to take the sheets off the boys and hopefully it will be the last time they need them. Tomorrow it should be in the 60s again, then 50 on Sunday and a week in the 60s.
We took a little break during the afternoon....
Dinner before chores. A spinach and fruit salad....
chicken with caramelized onions and carrots....
and baked potatoes.
Rebel and Buddy were waiting, when LW and I went out at 7:30.
I got even more hair off them today.
